The next part of national apprentice week for us at Steelweld was finding out what Andrew Mackle our Engineering Manager has to say about how important apprentices are to Steelweld!

Andrew Mackle: Apprentices are a great way to grow a business with young and dynamic talent. Apprentices learn new skills as well as bringing new ideas into the company.

At Steelweld, our Engineering Apprentices cover a wide range of Engineering Skills from new product design to production, quality and manufacturing.

Our apprentices are involved with new tube cutting manufacturing processes and machinery that Steelweld Fabrication have recently purchased to ensure a high quality product is delivered every time. They are trained on how this new technology works and supported by existing personnel via both academic learning and on the job training.
